Peaches & Apples

It's Apple Season!

At the farm, the last batch of peaches have produced and the first batch of apples were ready for picking!

August 2009

August has been filled with wonder for us. It’s our first August in Maryland. We are surprised that the days are not so hot. Mornings and evenings are still nice and the heat is contained within a few hours of the afternoon. But August 31st changed all that. We are now in the 70’s during the day and 50’s at night. We are loving it. With the seasons changing so often you can really tell how fast time goes by and it seems to make us enjoy each other, each day, each season a bit more.


The geese still fly over making beautiful music,

the doe are growing,

Lily is getting big,

Aaron is looking more like a little boy than a baby,

A new pet joined our family,

Kya loves to talk on the phone to her best friend, Bella, in Florida,

And the girls are still each others dearest friends and love taking silly self-photos.

Autumn was very sick for a few days while Kya enjoyed the cooler weather and learned a new recipe and we snuggled up outside in the cool breeze to read a book,
