This weekend we had a small birthday party for Lily at our house. It had to be small, because everyone we know has a big family. So many children! Our house and pool area was packed with kids and we had a great time. There are 23 pictures in the slideshow. Grab a cup of coffee and Enjoy. :-)

Happy 1st Birthday Lily

Today our Lily Bug turned 1 year old! Happy First Bithday Lily. We had a simple celebration at home at dinner time. Kya and Autumn helped bake a birthday cake for Lily and made her some keepsake cards.

After dinner, we gave Lily her very first baby doll. Autumn couldn't wait to give it to her. At the end of the day, Kya and Lily sat on the sofa playing so sweetly with the new doll.

We love you baby girl. You are such a privilege to have as a daughter. We are so blessed.

She has bangs!
Kya has grown her bangs out since she was about 14 months old and now, at 4 1/2 years old, she delcared she wanted bangs like her mom and sister. Off to the salon we went so she could could give it a try. Both girls got hair cuts and then all 4 kids and I went for ice cream.

April has arrived!
April has arrived and all our friends are on Spring Break from school. My friend Nicole organized a day out for all the kids. We visited the Marine Center and had a picnic at the park on the intercoastal. After we said goodbye to our friends, my kids and I stayed a little longer to see the fish tanks one more time and to go for a walk along the intercoastal. My girls decided to collect leaves and waive hello to all the boats passing by. It was a beautiful day!

Hoppy Hoppy Easter
When you have 4 kids in the house, you not only have a Happy Easter but a very Hoppin' Easter. After Church, we had a Dunkin Donuts breakfast, which I thought was very Spring-Like for some reason. I'd like to say it was the thought of all the donuts in their various colors of icing seeming so festive, but in reality, I think it really has to do with anytime I don't have to cook and clean up it is a celebration in itself (at least for me!). The kids received their Easter Baskets after that and the babies received their first ever Easter baskets. Then we colored eggs, then we hunted eggs, rested, had an early ham dinner and went swimming. The girls love to throw the plastic eggs in the pool and swim around and collect them all. We hope everyone else's Easter was just as joyful and that you got some rest.

An Active House
With 4 kids, it's always active around here. Kya and Autumn love to make puppets. Here are some of the latest. Easter Eggs on popsicle sticks and some paper plate puppets that took an entire day to paint!

The girls started AWANA this past fall and are in the Cubbies group. The Cubbies were having boat races. Dad helped Kya and Autumn build and design a boat for the Float-A-Boat Regatta.

And, relaxing does happen around here from time to time, which we are always thankful.
