Summer Fun with Friends

Our dear friends, Sadie, Ethan and Madi, attend school and are out for the summer. They were able to join us for Summer's First Swim Date. We love spending our summers with them and my family dreads it when they have to go back to school.

Spaghetti Night With Dad!

Dad had all four children alone for dinner, while mom slipped out to the hair dresser. Be sure to notice my new-do in later photos, but for now, Wow! Check out these babes!

Happy Memorial Day

From our Family to Yours!
We hope your holiday was blessed with lots of relaxation and family time. We spent our day swimming...for 6 hours! The babies swam for 2 hours of that time. It was a very relaxing day. Here is our first photo of the babies in the pool.

Lily Strikes A Pose - or NOT

It's Lily's first portrait session! She cried and screamed and cried some more. The photographer had me hold her and stand in front of the camera with her to try and calm her down. That didn't really work but at least her and I got a few unexpected shots together out of her tantrum. Poor Lily, she doesn't yet understand that this will be a yearly ritual just after her birthday that her mother is going to make her do. It was pure toture for her but besides her missing gigantic smile, the photos still turned out adorable. Thank you Sears for your patients with my princess!

Free Dinner - A Pass it on Moment

We were at a little pizza place with all 4 of our children. We were sitting at an outside table. It was hot but there was a breeze. All the kids were being good and were particularly cute this night. We were having great conversations and several laughs. It was one of those nights you want to capture in a jar, open it up one day and relive it if possible. We had plans to walk down the sidewalk to the fudge shop that also has ice cream and enjoy our first officialy night of "summer" (i.e. no school, therapy, clubs, etc). The waitress approaches and says "your bill has been paid". What?! Did we really hear her correctly?! Our jaws dropped. Dale couldn't say anything and I asked if she was serious. She explained there was a couple inside that thought our family was beautiful and that it was great that we took our kids out, they wanted to do this as a an act of kindess. Dale conveyed our immense appreciation. We were so greatful and floored! It was one of those moments we'll never forget and be sure to pass on one day.

A Beautiful Weekend

For Mother's Day we spent the weekend in Central Florida. We seem to go there often. We love most everything about the area, except my husband works in 'South' Florida, so we can only visit Central Florida. One day maybe we can relocate but for now hubby has his dream-job. Anyway, we went to Epcot for the flower show but it was so very hot and humid. We spent most of our time at inside activities. We had lunch with Mickey Mouse and some of his friends.

The heat was unbearable. The girls ran through the fountains fully dressed and had a blast. Kya has always been too timid to enjoy play fountains and today she broke free from her shyness and had an aboslute blast! Autumn was her normal goofy self enjoying every minute of life to the fullest.

We stayed at our favorite hotel. The hotel has so much to do "inside". The inside of the hotel is a huge atrium with 3 distinct areas. It has boarwalks going over fish ponds with live palm trees planted through out the entire atrium. Another area has alligators, then there is the Key West area where there is a huge sailboat. We were lucky enough this time to have reservations on the sailboat. The girls were mesmorized by the fire dancer and Lily was in a trance over the balloon guy on stilts.

Happy Mother's Day

I haven't gotten flowers in years. I am highly allergic to them. I did finally tell my husband several months ago that I really missed getting flowers and suggested that maybe he still send them to me and I throw them away that night. A girl can at least enjoy them for a day, right? Well, sweet sweet Hubby, sent me Cookie Roses! So I got to have my Flowers and Eat them too! :-) They were very good! And, I have to say I was quite excited about this creative idea.
